[SCAM] Goptions stole $1000 from me! !!!

    Hi BOTS!

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm pretty new to the forum, but I had to sign up today to warn everyone against Goptions!

So heres the story: I was looking for a 60 second broker to use my new strategy on. I was referred to Goptions and I heard that they accepted PayPal which instantly sold me since I don't have money in my Moneybookers at the moment. A buddy of mine owed me money so we agreed that he'll deposit $1000 for my account. Goptions agreed to this AND I even accepted the 50 % bonus. [Stupid, I know.]
A week later I doubled my account and made enough trade volume to be able to withdraw the money. My account was then banned and marked as fraud, because I forgot to send in my documents. Me AND my friend sent in photo ID and proof of address. They accepted it and my account access was restored. Today I logged in and made a withdrawal for $1000. Seconds later I get this email:

    http://gyazo.com/cd6f850f9469eb79aa334751b8340c3e

The $1000 deposit was refunded back to PayPal but they kept the remaining $1200.

Any advice on what I can do at this point? I'm trying to contact their other support reps but its not working.

Exclamation Client marked as Fraud - COO response from GOptions !!!

    Hello all at BOTS,

Firstly the compliance and banking team was in touch with this client all the way, from the moment he funded the account. Why? Because he had a "friend" who funded the account with another "friends" PP account.

Compliance and banking were informed by PP the minute we received funds that the $1k deposit was red flagged and potentially fraud. At that moment, the client informed and compliance got on the case asking him for docs and an explanation. At no point did he wait or get lost in limbo. There was support and service even though he was marked as fraud.

In that time period between account getting frozen and him being informed he managed to double/triple up by going all in pretty much (another indication of a fraudulent account, all in lose chargeback all in win withdraw). Obviously the moment its marked as fraud any win/loss/trades are NEGATED, VOID, NO LONGER VALID.

In this case we even went a step further, our affiliate team contacted the affiliate the client came from, even the afiliate said when faced with all the info from us "wow so its a fraud then....".

Seriously guys, I get it, brokers often suck. But even when fraudulent activity happens our service to our online users is paramount. After this account was frozen just a few days, compliance came back and simply said they were still not happy with it, still not buying the excuses and still 99.999% sure it's fraud.

Now listen all of you. Even if we got it wrong, he was informed the whole way. He was never left to just sit and "twist". We looked at all the facts, the info and the processing side and marked it as fraud. Money was instantly returned to their friends, friends PP. That's it. Money returned any trades he made in that short 1/2 day period are negated.

This has nothing to do with stealing money, or scamming someone or even GOptions sucking. It is simply a case of attempted online money laundering and fraud and I hope that my explanation will at least show you that regardless of the type of issue, client concerned or scenario, our support and service stays paramount. Keeping the client informed and taken care of.

All I hope is that anyone reading this will understand the basic concept of if its fraudulently funded NOTHING COUNTS from that point on.

    Best,

    Adam

From a side point of view I could say Adam Shore is right.

We couldn’t be 100% sure but all of us will agree it is a bit weird to not fund personally your account but from somebody else paypal account. I think the reaction of GOption is right independently of the claims. It is among the most important factors when you signed up with your brokerage to fund personally your account not with somebody else details. I know many people whose money are stolen that way from their PayPal accounts. There is actually whole illegal market with paypal accounts details.

For me also the right decision. PayPal is very often used from scammers to steal peoples money, the only way to avoid such techniques is if the brokers stop allowing deposits from somebody else accounts. Only if you send your personal data and documents with all the details you should be able to deposit money. This is true for all forex brokers, but unfortunately most of the binary brokers allow deposits without confirmed data and want it before withdrawal which is not the right way.

I'm sorry, but at this point in time I am liable to 'side' with anyone who has a dispute with Goptions just based on the way they are dealing/corresponding with me. I have made 3 withdrawal requests since August 2013, 2 of them as recently as November 2013 and there is just a constant delaying tactic - I would strongly advise readers to seek out other brokers. The most critical part of any broker is their business integrity and if one can't withdraw money in a timely fashion then it doesn't matter what bells and whistles their platform has to enable better trading. What is the point if you can't withdraw?

See my thread above with poll attached. If I finally get my withdrawal I will update but until then I will be an active advocate of not ever using Goptions.

I have to say that I also stongly discourage anyone to use Goptions and in particular their affiliate program. Dealing with them is very uncomfortable and they have cheated me for a lot of money. Their excuse for not paying is that the FTD's are not verified, and when this happens as many times as it has happened to me I start to be confident that they are a scam. The few times that they in fact have paid me, they are consistantly late in doing so. I really feel for you, Steve, as I know what you are going through and it's really frustrating.

"Ilan" We don't have an Ilan as an affiliate
We pay all affiliates by the 5th of the month unless they fail to send us an invoice
I don't know who you are or what you're trying to pull with this false claim garbage
If you have an issue, you can send it to support@goptions.com
Airing it out publicly with false names and emails is making a mockery of the process of public forums

You got an issue? It's possible something got lost in translation, fallen between the cracks, or something else.
Want to use the word "scam"? Well, you better at first at least send an email, make a call, get on skype, or chat
    Something
But you've done nothing of the kind cause we don't have an "Ilan" as an affiliate and this looks a lot like a number of other forum posts made in the name of "Simon Johnson" <--- yet another name not in our affiliate program.

So if you have an issue - let us know
Want to trash us - go right ahead, but it's unsubstantiated and unprofessional

    Regards

Well i havent tried to withdraw from goptions yet. This post has raised a red flag in my mind, but im not gonna just take the post as goptions general method of business, im going to withdraw next week and see for myself because i like goptions and i have faith that they are a good broker. The sad thing is that you just never know these days. I have about 8 people waiting to sign up to a binary broker, but they dont know which brojer to deal with. I will be a advocate for goptions if they rise above the accusations and honor my request without any nonsense. Im making sure i comply with all terms and conditions, so i hope it goes well... and not to mention they said 24hr withdrawals so once my withdrawal is processed i will give them a 3 day window.. im putting in for over 5,000 so we can see if they really pay their traders. I will keep the forum posted on what happens. I like goptions and my fingers are crossed. I hope they do the right thing and remain in my good graces, because i really like the platform.
