S&P500 fell a quarter percent,closing at 2265 points.The decline was dominated by companies from the real estate sector.The biggest losers were Pfizer(-1.37%),Wal-Mart(-0.81%) and Intel(-0.62%).The biggest winners were JP Morgan(+0.25%),Walt Disney(+0.09%) and Apple(+ 0.09%).
From 8 November,when they held a presidential election in the US,the benchmark index rose 6%. Futures on the index are falling 0.07%. After the consolidation in place to 2258 index points it will be expected trend correction with targets 2262 and 2270 in extension.
S&P500 fell 0.35% closing at 2269 points yesterday. Investors were impressed by the fall in oil prices and the focus is on the beginning of the season the publication of business results. Companies have fallen in energy sectors and utilities.
The winners were Facebook(+1.21%),Apple(+0.92%).The losers were Exxon Mobil(-1.65%),AT&T(-1.26%),Verizon Communications (-1.09%) and Coca Cola (-1.01%). Futures the S& P500 since this morning fell by 0.03%.
Ahead inaugural ceremony it was expected strong reaction of markets and different sectors of the economy depending on the focus of the speech the new US president. Yesterday all three major US indices fell. The S&P500 lost 0.36% of its value and closed at 2263 points.
Mostly companies have failed from the real estate sector.The winners were AT&T(+0.49%) and Verizon Communications(+0.21%). The losers were Exxon Mobil(-1.8%) and Citigroup(-1.27%).In the past year the index rose 20.32%.
