Daily Trading Tips by Terry - Monday 23rd September !!!

    Recommendations:

Use an expiry time of 1 hour plus.
Risk no more than 2% of your account balance.
Tips are tradable until 4.00pm EST today.

EUR/USD: News about the Merkel victory helped boost the euro initially against the US Dollar during the early part of today’s session. As such, the pair climbed higher to test its upper Bollinger Band. However, as the Merkel landslide was not sufficiently large enough to allow her party to rule Germany entirely on its own, doubts emerged as a coalition government could take 4 to 8 weeks to form.

Consequently, the EUR/USD dropped during this morning so that it is presently hovering above a key support. If this level can now be assertively breached, then open a binary option, based on this pair, if price slumps under 1.3490.

USD/JPY: The Yen strengthen against the US Dollar overnight exemplified by this pair dropping by almost 40 pips to break beneath both a major support and its psychologically important 99.00 level. The greenback came under fresh pressure following Merkel’s decisive victory in the German elections which boosted risk sentiment.

Consequently, investors increased their risk appetite undermining the strength of the US Dollar. A new bout of US debt ceiling negations is also exerting pressure on the greenback. As such, consider selling this pair if price can sustain a clean break below 98.65.

GOLD TRADING: This precious metal extended its losses for the second consecutive day by plunging overnight to break below a key support level within the last few hours. The price of gold has plunged by just over $14 per oz. since the commodity markets recommenced business this morning.

Bullion came under new pressure after James Bullard, the President of the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank, surprised the markets last Friday by stating that the Fed could still instigate stimulus tapering in October. Just the mere mention of such a development is enough to weaken gold. As such, execute a new binary option, using this commodity as its underlying asset, if price drops below $1,315.00 per oz.

AUD/USD: News released overnight providing additional evidence that the Chinese economy was continuing to emerge from recession helped lift the Australian dollar against the greenback. The AUD/USD climbed by just over 25 pips to test its upper Bollinger Band.

Better-than-expected Chinese economic data always supplies a boost to the AUD because this giant country imports almost one-third of Australian total exports. After undergoing a minor corrective dip in the last few hours, the AUD/USD now looks poised to climb higher. Consequently, buy this pair if a clean break above 0.9455 can be accomplished.
