Daily Trading Tips by Terry - Tuesday 25th June !!!

    Recommendations:

Use an expiry time of 1 hour plus.
Risk no more than 2% of your account balance.
Tips are tradable until 4.00pm EST today.
Trade just one Tip at a time
Major US economic data due for release at 8.30 am EST

EUR/USD: Following two consecutive days of gains, the Euro weakened slightly against the US Dollar overnight characterized by the EUR/USD slipping almost 10 pips. The pair surged higher earlier during the session only to be firmly rejected by its Upper Bollinger Band.

The EUR/USD is presently toying with its middle Bollinger Band. If an assertive break is NOT achieved below this level, then execute a CALL binary option based on this pair if price can surge above 1.3150.

USD/JPY: The Yen continued to extend its gains against the greenback this morning for the second consecutive day. Encouraging remarks from both the US and Chinese central banks released overnight are suppressing US dollar strength.

Consequently, the USD/JPY slumped earlier during today’s session before rebounding against a major support level. After undergoing a minor relief rally, the pair is now poised to weaken further. Sell the USD/JPY if it plunges below 96.95.

Gold Trading: This precious metal continued to trade a restricted range this morning by stabilizing after experiencing sharp losses last week. Positive statements issued by the Fed and the Chinese central bank are watering down US dollar strength which is helping gold to regain its footing.

As analysts are now expecting bullion to benefit further from these developments today, look to open a CALL binary option based on gold if price breaks above $1,289.20 per oz.

GBP/USD: After climbing by almost 70 pips during yesterday’s session, this pair practically trended water overnight. With the prospects that the US Dollar could weaken further amid fresh bullish market conditions, the British pound is expected to extend its gains today.

Currently, the GBP/USD has just broken back above its middle Bollinger Band with conviction. Consequently, buy this pair if price climbs decisively above 1.5475.

A spate of better-than-expected US economic indicators was published this morning that has altered the trading dynamics helping the US Dollar to strengthen across the board. In addition, gold has also weakened. As such, the daily tips presented this morning are now unlikely to be activated. They were initially based on the prevailing market conditions active at the time of production.

I am not overly concerned about this development. This is because the tips are designed to satisfy two primary objectives. The first is to provide good winning opportunities while the second is to minimize losses. By addressing both considerations, they aim to produce as high a win-to-loss ratio as possible.

Today, the tips did achieve the second objective by not producing any unnecessary losses. When trading binary options, I have found that controlling losses is just as important as winning profits. Maybe a boring approach but this philosophy complies more accurately with reality as opposed to adopting a gang-ho attitude.

The Durable Goods was really better than expected and this accelerates some dollar gains but it was not of such a great magnitude as the last Friday move. From tomorrow we will see some good bullish momentum in all assets as compared to the dollar you’ll see.
