    Double bollinger, opinions? !!!

Hey folks, I'm new around here, glad to be part of what looks like a great group. I've been following bogdans getsuga strategy and made 2 successful demo trades using it.

I paid $100 to join into a Facebook group where 'professional' traders give signals and that proved to be a waste of money. Although I learnt a few things, I won't be paying for advice again.

Anyway, one of the traders was selling his strategy (for $750!!), I viewed it at my friends house, it was basically this.

1 minute chart, bollinger bands at dev 1 and at dev 2. This creates a sell zone between the top two bands and a buy zone between the bottom two (hope that makes sense). The technique was to wait for band expansion, and for 5 candles to form in between the top two bands, when the price comes back down you wait for the first candle started to form under the second highest band and place a put for 30-45 minutes. If 5 candles form in the lower two bands, do a call for 30-45 minutes.

A surprising amount of people bought this and there are people posting great results using it. I lost more than I won with it during demo trading, but was wondering if anybody had their own opinion on it?!

    Cheers folks

OK, I stopped reading at 1 minute chart. Stop doing that. I know I know you want to trade 60 seconds but don't....you will end up losing. Move out to at east a 15 minute chart and I really suggest using hourly and daily charts. 1 minute is just to short, the signals don't mean squat and the difference between closing prices and rates offered by the brokers are just enough to wipe out most of your potential profits. Remember, this is the internet, unless you know the "people" who are getting good results be very skeptical of any reviews you are offered.

Double Bollinger band is a good way to go, I don't use BBAnds myself, not that I wouldn't, I just have my thing and stick to it pretty much. I've seen some stuff on this technique and it looks promising, especially for someone with a certain amount of finesse with their trading. I suggest adding support and resistnace lines, trend lines or Fibs, and a good grip on the market outlook.

Wait... someone sold this strategy for 750 bucks??!!??

    ...and someone paid 750 bucks???!!??

...and I gave up Getsuga for... free????!!!

maybe i need to reassess my way of thinking because the world is a bit upside down... or I'm just stupid for not selling stuff

Thanks for your replies. I don't want to buy 60 second options but I wanted to see if the strategy had merit, so thanks again for your reply.

Bogdan lol yes, I could count at least 20 people that bought it! I wouldn't pay 75 pence for it!

Yes and thanks for getsuga, I'm being patient with it and back testing it daily

Probably you are stupid enough to not sell Gesuga strategy haha Many more on newbie willing to pay all their money for the holly grail of trading. I know you are honest enough for not doing this, but there are many other sellers who are not and earn a lot of money from these so called strategies. Some of them can be a good starting point, but no way something worth 750 bucks, no way

There is only one thing for sure – there are too many foolish people around the world so every good marketer can sell whatever he wants if find the right persons. I don’t believe that it is something strange but actually it is very sad that people waste their money and badly – trade without any knowledge following such waste strategies.

I have noticed a 1000% increase in adds for trading in BO. Every add makes it sound like BO is an easy way to get rich quick. I'd say a lot of people are getting sucked in and soon realize how hard it is. Then they get sucked in by the next adds providing signals to get them out of the mess (loss of $). I am not surprised there is a market for strategy selling as the BO adds target the inexperienced.

The Facebook group, let me guess: The Green Room?
And let me guess again, they made a bunch of 60s trades and it required you to do
losing Martingale when a trade failed?

You are correct. That's the weak point of human. Some are lazy and some are greedy and think that those scams can make them rich overnight
