    Communication with Brokers !!!

can anyone say if it normal for a broker to offer a 24/7 live chat and only to find out it is only available during their working hours? plus they phones are not answered.

I want to open my first trading account, and have a preference to sign up with stock pair; my problem is i could not get through with them via their phones nor live chat.

is it possible of the time difference? i am from Trinidad and we carry eastern time zone. any help on this would be most appreciated.

    Hi 64fxrancho,

Yes it is possible that you can't contact them because they are different time zone. Try to contact them again at night, when it is day in Europe. I have contacted them many times and most of the times they are available.

You should contact them first, but I also think that this is because of your time zone.

Well, most brokers claim to have 24/7 support. On real life however, they don't deilever. Most brokers are opertaing from EU, hence there are time differences, and on certain hours (usually Nights GMT's +0+1+2) the support team is very diluted. Best thing to do is to contact your broker's support, verify what hours are best for both sides to chat.

That’s very true! Most of the brokers don’t have real 24/7 live support. The only thing you can do when their support is not available is to send them email or to wait till they are available again. I think broker who have real 24/7 support or at least 24/5 support will be one step ahead of all the others. I know that most of the forex brokers have real 24/5 support so I believe sooner or later it will happen with the binary industry too.

Broker marketing sucks. If they cannot answer their phones or do not have decency to call back, they really suck. Better search for another broker. Trust between customer and a broker is also an important aspect in trading. You do not want to trust your money to some careless swindler.
