    Trading Diary !!!

    Hello,

Today I begin making my trading diary.

First, I'll share my strategy that I will be using.

I am currently using GXMACD (12, 26, 9, T3, JJMA ) and AroonOscillator(9) 44 Along with FiboCandles, and Guppy Bands.

GXMACD shows a cloud so I can easily see when the macd and signal lines crossover, and I see a histogram as well. The AroonOscillator shows when things are overbought over sold. When Aroon and GXMACD agree, Guppy Bands show a strong trend, and FiboCandles indicate high or low, along with agreeable distance from support or resistance, this strategy works well.

So far I have made some risky trades based off of GXMACD alone, ignoring Guppy Bands etc and they havent worked so well. What I like about Guppy Bands is they show about 10 EMA's, and make it easy to see if a trend is ending or continuing.

I also look for trades when we reach high resistance levels or very low support levels.

Today I put in two trades so far. First trade was because I saw the guppy's cross and fibocandles showed very low, the candles also broke past previous support lines.

Second Trade was because I saw guppy's crossing again and lots of pinbars at the bottom.

    Hi tonechild,

It looks promising your strategy, but don’t you think it is too early to evaluate your strategy without significant number of trades to test. You need to have at least 20 trades to summarize and than to see if it is a viable strategy or it need some tweaks.

    Marvel,

I agree, and am not sure if it will work. Strategy isn't concrete either. Just my trading diary and why I did what I did and what happened.

This time it was just on pinbars and support resistance. Overall intention is to publicly record my trading endeavors.

That’s a great idea. We will think on making a Room especially dedicated for personal trading diaries, or at least a sub room. I will appreciate very much every effort in this direction. It will be very helpful to all of us.

    Hi tonechild,

Do you still actively trade binary options! It was great idea to share your trades in terms of trading diary. I hope you will continue to update us on your progress!

Independently of the used strategy or the methods used a trading diary is a great way to keep track of your trading activity. It is very important to listen your inner trading voice Some days are better than others and my guess is that there is some psychological moments which we can easily miss. Only with keeping diary of our activity we can spot the problems and avoid them in the future!

Hi tonechild! What’s up with your trading diary? The initial strategy you presented here looks promising and it is very interesting for me to see if you have any progress or results with it!
