My choice is not there: a precise and emotional (tilt risk) trader with a conservative-aggression style, scared to lose but easy to trade, but not scared to put a lot of work in it.

Let's call it Tight Aggressive Style (TAS), like a solid pokergame.

I have been impulsive overall, but not so much anymore. Since my impulseness has only slowed recently I reluctantly picked impulsive until I prove to myself I can remain calm for a month!

Haha Your imagination amazed me ones again SeasaltMcFish! I am too not well defined with one of the categories above – I have to describe myself as aggressively precise trader. I am trading aggressively but only in very rare circumstances when all the rare components of my strategy are on my side.

I am not totally sure that my trading style is matched by the choices. I would say that most of my positions are long term (even a week is usually much too short) and I start by looking for instances where I believe the market has travelled too far, too fast. This of course could be positive or negative. In that way I would call myself a long-term contrarian trader.

It can be easy early on to enter into positions too quickly Newer traders tend to think they are losing money if they are not in the market. Usually losing a trading account will force a new mindset.

You hit the nail on the head RCox, at least for me anyway! Losing definitely forced a new mindset.

I prefer to trade wisely. Most of the time on daily and weekly charts.

I'd say calm trader, no big surprise either when lost/win happen,
but I'd say I still have emotion, because I'm still human not robot.
and the position I take most of the time scare others while I just enjoy the swing.
