Gold coins, pot of luck Surprise !!!

Post it just for side news, need this kind of news to take out seriousness of trading out of table for temporary lol.

Gold-coin find ‘greatest buried treasure ever unearthed in the United States’

A couple in Northern California discovered more than 1,400 rare U.S. gold coins worth more than $10 million, rare-coin expert Kagin’s Inc. announced this week, referring to the find at as the “greatest buried treasure ever unearthed in the United States.”

The couple, who reportedly wish to remain anonymous, found the coins buried in cans on their property in California’s gold country while walking their dog.

“This family literally found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,” said Donald Kagin, president of the Tiburon, Calif., coin firm, in a statement.
About 90% of the coins will go on sale at a later date on Amazon.com. It will be the first major numismatic treasure to be sold through Amazon AMZN -0.83% , Kagin said in its press release.

The face value of the find was $28,000, but it included at least 13 “finest known specimens” — among them an 1866-S No Motto Double Eagle valued at around $1 million.

Reading this news, I wish there were gold coins under my house too ,but sadly if I dig the floor, all I get will be angry tenant as I live in apartment.
Back to binary trading, will you wait for pot of gold under your account or will you slowly fill the pot with gold you gather around?

This is a great post and could even be put in a gold thread, or maybe we should start a thread in the News Desk for Op Ed's and interest pieces like this?

Maybe having miscellaneous news that is interesting inside one thread will be interesting?

I did find a golden ring in my garden (with my metal detector).

However, I buried it there first, to find out how it works

    hehehehe

I once lost my wedding ring somewhere on the street. A few days later, I kicked against some grass on the pavement (not on purpose) and look: the ring came out...

Best thing I found until now is a 1/4 Stüber from 1754. Not worth much, but I like history so I'm still very glad with it.

There should definitely be a Gold thread if there is not one already. You would be amazed at how many people are trading gold.

Gold is really among the most traded assets around the globe. However the Gold trading characteristics are not among the best. Wider spread as compared to major currencies, bigger volatility and unpredictability, so it is not a hedge against market turmoil but a very dangerous and volatile asset, so I won’t put my gold eggs in gold
