    MTF Candle Closing Time? !!!

Does anyone know/have an indicator which shows the time to candle close but in a different timeframe?
It would be quite convenient to see the expiration time of a 15 or 30 minute candle in the 5 minute chart ...

You could add Cyclus lines (dunno how it's called in English) to your MT4 Chart.

Give them the timeframe you need and they go on copying in the future. Check now and then if time still is correct, since sometimes Candles are missing, causing shifted Cyclus lines.

You can find them under the "Insert" Tab on your MT4 Platform (3rd tab)

    You're welcome

I normally put two lines on the time scale for the needed period and then draw the cyclus lines until they fit my two lines.

The cycle lines were not optimal in the end, as they cover the wicks too much ...

But I have found a way to modify an existing candle clock timer to display the remaining 5 min candle as well as the 15 min candle ... I won't get a prize for programming clean code, but it works

Anyone interested in that too, just pm me ...

You can put your graph in front of the lines. Then you don't have problems with the wicks.

Your timer also seems like a good option.

I know, but then the candles also hide my indicators, which I don't like, too

[Yes, I am a nagging perfectionist! *sigh*]

Huh? Look at any clock... A 15 min candle will expire every 15 minutes and a 30 minute candle will expire every 30 minutes

I think he asked this because on the MT4 Charts, it's difficult to see the exact time without putting a line on it, or am I wrong here?

In back testing, its nice to see when the candle closed the time period.
