Writing an EA for binary options !!!

Hi Guys, I'm pretty new into trading binary.
have don several years of forex, and wrote a few expert advisors. Some better as others..

However, a friend of mine is doing a pretty good job on the binairy options.
And I like to write an ea so he does not have to miss any trades anymore.

So my question is: Is it possible to automatically place an order for binairy?
Becuase I see all kind of platforms, mostly webbased.

personally I am looking for a broker who uses MT4 to do forex with, but uses the same mt4 platform to place orders for binairy options as well.

Is any of you guys familiar with automated trading on binairy options ??

    Hi Jonkie,

As far as I know, there's no MT4 BO broker, but I think to remember someone wrote about a MT4 broker. Have not been able to find that.

Actually there are no binary options brokers which could be used directly for automated trading with EA. There are some forex brokers I think like VanageFx which offer binary options via Metatrader 4, but I don’t have experience with them. I am sure in the near future there will appear rising number of binary options brokers offering API for algo trading but for now such option doesn’t exist.

Well that is funny you mention VantageFX, as I happen to have an account there, with some miracle $1,- account balance on it ;-)
I also implemented the extra options for trading BO into MT4 platorm, however this is only calling a popup of there normal BO trading screen.
So as far as i can see no connection with MT4 at all unfortunately. ;-(

I followed their MT4 for a while and it seems accurate to their BO prices (that are somewhere in the middle of their spread distance) but couldn't get the MT4 BO trading working yet.

Also found a lot of negative comments on this broker, but they all seem to go back to some crooked EA thing, called BTN. Dunno what it is.

VantageFX is a big one and regulated..

I had an ea bot for a couple of weeks and I did not miss any entries at all. The ea worked prefectly on their MT4 platform.
So i am thinkinig about refunding that account with like $250,- or so and give it a try there, as I can trade BO there as well on the same account as my Forex.

I think it's an automated Forex bot. Very common and allowed in Forex.

    EA = Expert Advisor ... it's MT4 terminology

Like McFish said, it's like an indicator but you can script/automate it, as far as I know
