    Trading system !!!

As most forum readers realize I'm new to binary options, but not to trading in general I've had some success at stocks, currencies & futures.
Now a good trading system needs to have a risk reward ratio of at least 2-1 to succeed, most binary options have a ratio of under 1, so right from the start your up against the anti!
Having looked at some system promotions it appears most are broker founded, as I now realize whilst reviewing the 'Profit in 60 seconds system'
I even checked out Keith Jone's martingale system, which has come under some comments on this forum.
So I've done some early research on perhaps a winning system using this approach.
To be profitable trading binary options you have to be correct at least 70% of your trades, now that is not possible.
So using Metrader 4 opening a currency pair with a 1 minute chart you can with patience wait for a trend to develop, once determining the trend direction trade using your broker platform on an oversold/overbought situation. I paper traded just that method, however with a risk reward of just .7 it just is not profitable. I was correct on 60% of my trades.
On using KJ's martingale approach, ie going from a $5 first trade, if trade losses then a $10 trade and so on I had some success, the maximum number of losses being 3.
Now I'm no fan of the Martingale system, but used in conjunction with a trading plan it can work.
So far my research being only on 1 minute option expiry.

Well, you seem to have done your research ... however, I will never believe in that statement above!

I did some calculation on an excel table for myself, to see if I could find a way to recover lost trades with doubling trades ... but the numbers get so big after 4-7 lost trades that it will simply wipe your account ...

And you have to count in the maximum trade size of your broker, too, which will very quickly limit you ... and I don't even speak of the psychological pressure of losing 15.000 Euros in 60 seconds ...

Anyway, I wish you luck ...

I Beg to differ...I get consistent 70-80% ITM on a technique I use. It does not work with certain brokers, but the select few I have tested it is possible most of the time. Martingale will titanic your account..period. So what I do is use only 1% of my account equity per trade. If I lose a trade I will go to 2%. If that one is a loss I will go back to 1% and battle my way back. There is only one way...get rich slow....and to quote a well known ole golfer "the harder I practice the luckier I get". Best results definitely using the MT4 Binary Options Plugin which a couple of brokers now offer. Love the simplicity, the fact that they are regulated and they have liquidity, not like the lot that need x amount of losers to pay the few winners...it smacks of a ponzi.

Martingale helps only for consistently profitable system with win ratio above 70% in general. Also boart is right that it must be used very carefully because of the exponential increase of the risk per trade when losing a position. So it is better to turn back to initial risk per trade after two or three consecutive losses with martingale tactic. That sound very great you already have such a good strategy boart! Could you tell us something more about it or it is secretive ?

Would you please tell us more about your system? Also, what do you think about the Profit in 60 seconds software?

As of yet I have had no response from the software promoter, I think it's a scam the two brokers recommended are not regulated either.

emailed the software provider today, on a Saturday, and got a response same day. However, they only replied with one sentence. The deal is only good with Traderush. My question was about Traderush and Redwood. Which were both mentioned in their offering. When I try to double check the original offer, it says I am already signed up, so it will not let me try the software for 30 days or let me see the original offer of signing up for 2 different brokers. I don't like to say this...I really don't..but now that I am a member of this forum I have to say..."This really sucks.

What is Winning without showing the logic Behind the winning? BOTS stance is to know the strategy and detail explanation behind those winning claims.
