    Hi traders

The most important event for the week will be the Nonfarm Payroll number which will happen in 25 minutes. So be prepared for some weird volatility and for significant market reactions. I am not sure about the direction because now the situation is more complicated, but some good NFP results could lead to stronger dollar, which is not as tipical but now is highly probable. I will trade calls on USD/JPY several minutes after the anouncement if the data is good and the charts look according my initial prediction.

The data is worse than expected – 148K vs 170K expected. That lead to strong pressure on the dollar and rise on all other actives, EUR, AUD, JPY. For me the surprise was the paralel rise in stock markets and precious metals, which I didn't expect.

The initial reaction to the NFP data is mixed. After the initial weakness of the US dollar we see that it become again strong, especially against Yen. US stock market is really with no direction and I think it could stay in that range without clear breakout. The gold and silver prices spiked but that also doesn’t look like stable trend initiation. That’s why I will avoid trading in these conditions unless there is some clear trend.
